Reiki is an ancient hands on form of healing.  Yes, I know that traditional Reiki Practitioners will disagree with my use of the word ancient, but that is O.K., they will get over it.  Reiki is much older that the Usui followers believe and on this point, we just have to agree to disagree and move on for the betterment of society.

A Reiki Practitioner has received one, or several, attunements where they are able to move Divine energy through their body and administer this energy directly to a client.  This Divine energy is of such a high frequency that the energies of illness, pain, emotional issues, and the list goes on and on, is changed into something positive.  Using Reiki, I have seen abdominal pain that could not be diagnosed, vanish.  I have seen bruises disappear before my eyes.  When a Reiki Practitioner takes their training to the limits and accepts the responsibility of becoming a vessel for this energy, the results can be amazing.

If it is O.K. with my clients, I often use stones and oils to increase the energy, thus increasing the effect of the session.
