Auricular Therapy works along the same principle as acupuncture and acupressure.  Throughout our body are tiny energy pathways.  these pathways have access points throughout them, and it just so happens that every energy pathway has an access point in the human ear.  Auricular therapy practitioners use a machine to introduce a tiny electrical charge into these access points in an effort to remove energy blockages and restore the proper flow of 'Chi' throughout the body.

Many people ask, if it hurts.  There is an adjustment on the machine where I could lower the charge if it is painful, but I prefer to start with the smallest charge and work my way up.  I do not care to subject clients to needless pain when there is a painless alternative.  The way that I use the machine, a client may feel a small tingle and that is all. Auricular Therapy is very effective in all forms of healing, but is particularly helpful in the areas of chronic pain and addiction.

Normally an Auricular Therapy treatment lasts 15 - 20 minutes, and the client sits upright.
